How to Use AajSe

AajSe is your personal growth engine. Track mood, habits, tasks, and custom metrics — with AI coaching and cloud sync.
Guest mode: Works offline with local storage. No signup needed.
With account: Cloud sync across devices, AI-powered insights, and daily push reminders.
First time? Pick a profile (Student, Developer, Professional, Wellness, or Custom) and we'll pre-configure your tracker with relevant goals and tasks.
🎯Profiles & Onboarding
When you first use AajSe, you'll pick a profile that sets up your tracker automatically:
🎓 Student
Tracks Study Hours, Mock Scores, Subjects Covered. Pre-loaded tasks: Morning Study, Revision, Mock Test.
💻 Developer
Tracks Coding Hours, Problems Solved, Learning Time. Pre-loaded tasks: DSA Practice, Project Work, Code Review, Side Project.
💼 Professional
Tracks Deep Work Hours, Tasks Completed. Pre-loaded tasks: Deep Work, Emails/Comms, 1-on-1, Skill Learning.
🧘 Wellness
Uses built-in mood, sleep, water & exercise. Pre-loaded tasks: Meditation, Walk, Gym, Healthy Meal.
⚙️ Custom
Blank slate — add your own trackers and tasks later from Settings.
📝Tracking Your Day
Tap the Today tab to log your entry. Each section is collapsible — only sections with data stay open, keeping it clean.
Your entry auto-saves after 3 seconds of inactivity. No need to hit save manually.
Mood — Pick the emoji that matches how you feel (Awful to Great). Add an optional note.
Wellness — Log sleep hours, water glasses, and exercise minutes with +/- buttons.
Custom Trackers — Your profile-specific metrics (Coding Hours, Study Hours, etc.). Tap +/- to log values. Goal progress bars show how close you are.
Tasks — Add from templates or create new ones. Check off when done. Recurring tasks auto-appear daily.
Journal — Write gratitude, reflections, or anything on your mind.
Rate Your Day — 1 to 5 stars for your overall day.
📊Custom Trackers
Custom trackers are simple numeric fields you define yourself. Each tracker has a label, icon, unit, goal, and step size.
Go to Settings → Custom Trackers → Add Custom Tracker to create one.
Examples: Coding Hours (goal: 4h), Pages Read (goal: 30), Calories (goal: 2000), Problems Solved (goal: 2).
Tracker values are recorded daily and shown as bar charts with a goal line on your Dashboard.
The KPI section on the dashboard shows your average vs. goal for each custom tracker.
✅Task Templates
Go to Settings → Task Templates to create reusable tasks.
Give each task a name and color. Toggle 'Auto-add daily' (recurring) if you want it to appear automatically every day.
On the Today page, your templates show as quick-add chips — tap to add one to today's entry.
You can also type a completely new task using the 'Add Task' button.
Profile presets come with starter task templates — you can edit or delete them anytime.
📈Understanding the Dashboard
Today's Score
Top-right corner — your combined wellness score for today (0-100).
Streak Banner
Shows how many consecutive days you've tracked. Milestones at 7, 14, 30, 60, 100 days.
AI Insights
AI-powered analysis of your recent data. Shows patterns, wins, and the one thing to focus on. Tap 'Generate' to get your first insight.
Filter Tabs
Switch between Day / Week / Month / 6M / Year to see different time ranges.
KPI Cards
Task completion %, mood average, days tracked, sleep/water/exercise stats. Custom tracker averages with goal progress bars.
Wellness Radar
Spider chart showing balance across Mood, Sleep, Water, Exercise, and Tasks.
Daily Score Line
Combined wellness score (0-100) per day with your average line.
Custom Tracker Charts
Bar charts for each custom tracker over time, with a red goal line.
Mood Trend & Breakdown
Line chart showing mood over time, plus a donut chart of mood distribution.
Tasks Done
Completion bars — green 80%+, yellow 50%+, orange below.
Daily Habits
Sleep, water & exercise charts. Bright = goal met.
Activity Calendar
Heat map like GitHub's contribution chart. Darker = more tracking that day.
🤖AI Coaching
AajSe uses AI to analyze your tracking data and provide personalized coaching.
The AI knows your profile (Student, Developer, etc.) and references your custom tracker names by name — "Your Coding Hours averaged 3.2h this week" instead of generic advice.
How to use: On the Dashboard, find the Insights card and tap 'Generate Insights'. You need at least 2 days of data.
Insights include: Overall Score, Patterns, Wins, Focus Area, and a Motivation message.
Requires an account — AI insights are not available in guest mode.
🔔Push Notifications
Get a daily evening reminder if you haven't tracked yet. Keeps your streak alive.
Enable: Go to Settings → Notifications → Enable daily reminders. Allow the browser permission when prompted.
When: Every evening at 9 PM IST — but only on days you haven't logged an entry yet.
What: Rotating motivational messages like "Don't break the chain!" or "Your future self will thank you."
Tap the notification to jump straight to the Today page.
Requires an account — push notifications store your subscription in the cloud.
☁️Cloud Sync & Accounts
Sign up with email/password or Google to enable cloud sync.
Your data syncs automatically — track on your phone, see it on your laptop.
Forgot password? Tap 'Forgot password?' on the login page to get a reset email.
Migrate local data: If you used AajSe in guest mode first, go to Settings → Migrate Local Data to move everything to the cloud.
Cloud accounts also unlock AI insights and push notifications.
📦Backup & Restore
Export: Go to Settings → tap 'Export Data (.json)'. A file downloads to your device.
Import: Tap 'Import backup (.json)' → select your file → preview → confirm.
Import is smart: newer records win, old ones are skipped. You'll see a summary of what happened.
Cloud users: your data is already backed up. Local/guest users: export regularly!
📱Install as App
AajSe is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — install it for a native app experience.
Android / Chrome: Tap the 'Install' button in the header, or browser menu → 'Add to Home Screen'.
iPhone / Safari: Tap the Share button → 'Add to Home Screen'.
Desktop Chrome: Click the install icon in the address bar.
Once installed, AajSe opens in its own window and works offline.
🔒Privacy & Data Safety
Guest mode: All data stays in your browser's IndexedDB. Nothing is sent to any server.
Cloud mode: Data is stored securely in a private MySQL database — only you can access your data via your account.
AajSe does not track you, show ads, or collect analytics.
Your AI insights are processed server-side but never stored beyond your account.
💡Pro Tips
Track at the same time every day (e.g., before bed) to build the habit
Enable push notifications so you never forget — they only fire if you haven't tracked
Use the journal for gratitude — writing 3 things you're grateful for boosts mood long-term
Set realistic goals for custom trackers — start low and increase gradually
Check the Wellness Radar weekly to spot which area needs attention
Generate AI insights after a week of tracking for the most useful feedback
Customize your profile in Settings if the preset doesn't perfectly fit
Tap any date on the Activity Calendar to go back and edit that day
