How to Use AajSe

Everything you need to know

🚀Getting Started

AajSe is your personal daily tracker. Everything is saved locally on your device — no account needed, no data leaves your browser.

Start by tapping the Today tab at the bottom to log your first day!

📝Tracking Your Day

Pick your mood — tap the emoji that matches how you feel (Awful → Great)

Log sleep — tap + / - to set how many hours you slept

Track water — tap + for each glass you drink throughout the day

Log exercise — add minutes in 5-min increments

Add tasks — use templates or type a custom task name, then tap the checkbox when done

📖

Write in your journal — gratitude, reflections, anything

Rate your day — tap 1-5 stars

Tap 'Save Entry' — your data is stored instantly

Task Templates

Go to Settings → Task Templates to create reusable tasks.

Give each task a name and color. Toggle 'Auto-add daily' if you want it to appear automatically every day.

On the Today page, your templates show as quick-add chips — tap to add one to today's entry.

You can also type a completely new task using the 'Add Task' button.

📊Understanding the Dashboard

Streak Banner

Shows how many consecutive days you've tracked. Keep the chain going!

Filter Tabs

Switch between Day / Week / Month / 6M / Year to see different time ranges.

KPI Rings

Circular progress rings for task completion %, mood, and days tracked. Below them: sleep, water, and exercise with progress bars toward your goals.

Wellness Score (Radar)

A spider chart showing your balance across Mood, Sleep, Water, Exercise, and Tasks — each scored 0-100. The bigger the shape, the better your overall health.

Daily Score (Line)

A combined wellness score (0-100) per day. It adds up your mood, sleep, water, exercise, and task scores. The dotted line is your average.

Mood Trend (Area)

Your mood over time with emoji faces on the Y-axis. The yellow fill shows your mood rising and falling.

Mood Breakdown (Donut)

A pie chart showing what % of your days were Great vs Good vs Okay etc. The center shows your most common mood.

Tasks Done (Bars)

Completion % per day. Green = 80%+, yellow = 50%+, orange = below. For single-day view it shows a progress bar instead.

Daily Habits (Mini bars)

Three separate charts for Sleep, Water, and Exercise. Bright color means you hit your goal (8h sleep, 8 glasses water, 30min exercise).

Activity Calendar (Heat map)

Like GitHub's contribution chart — darker green = more things tracked that day. Tap any day to edit it.

📦Backup & Restore

Export: Go to Settings → tap 'Export Data (.json)'. A file downloads to your device. Keep this safe — it's your backup!

Import: Tap 'Import backup (.json)' → select your backup file → preview what's inside → tap Confirm.

Import is smart: if a record already exists, it keeps whichever version was updated more recently. New records are added, old ones are skipped. You'll see a summary showing how many items were inserted, updated, or skipped.

We recommend exporting at least once a week.

📱Install as App

AajSe is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — you can install it on your phone or desktop for a native app experience.

Android / Chrome: Tap the 'Install' button in the header, or tap the browser menu → 'Add to Home Screen'.

iPhone / Safari: Tap the Share button → 'Add to Home Screen'.

Desktop Chrome: Click the install icon in the address bar, or use the 'Install' button.

Once installed, AajSe opens in its own window, works offline, and you can access it from your home screen.

🔒Privacy & Data Safety

All your data is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB. Nothing is sent to any server.

Clearing browser data/cache will delete your AajSe data. Always keep a backup export.

If you switch browsers or devices, you'll need to export from one and import on the other.

AajSe does not track you, show ads, or collect analytics.

💡Pro Tips

Track at the same time every day (e.g., before bed) to build the habit

Use the journal for gratitude — writing 3 things you're grateful for boosts mood long-term

Set recurring tasks for daily habits (meditation, reading, etc.)

Check the Wellness Radar weekly to spot which area needs attention

Export before clearing browser data or switching devices

Tap any date on the Activity Calendar to go back and edit that day
